SWPL - Financial Secretary Position

The SWPL is looking for a new Financial Secretary

The South Wales Premier League is looking to appoint a new Financial Secretary from July 2025. The successful applicant, who should have an understanding and experience of working with accounts, will join the League Management Board and become one of the Officers of the League. The duties of the role comprise:

· Running and monitoring the League’s online bank account

· Generating and paying invoices on behalf of the SWPL

· Generating and ensuring the payment of fines levied on SWPL member clubs

· Financial administration of the semi-finals and final of the W. John Owen Cup

· Attending, and presenting a brief financial report, at League Management Board meetings which are held either in person or online

· Producing the SWPL’s annual statement of accounts at the end of each football season which will then be submitted to an appointed auditor for approval before being published in readiness for the SWPL AGM

The post attracts an annual allowance which is paid every June.

Interviews for the post will take place in early July 2025.
